I graduated from the University of Texas School of Law in December of 1999. I then began practicing law in California in 2000 after I was admitted to the Bar. In June 2006, I moved my family to Austin, Texas, became licensed in Texas, and began practicing law in Texas. Shortly, after our move to Austin, I went through a difficult divorce so I understand the emotions that often coincide with a divorce. I am an experienced litigator, and I have appeared in courts in counties throughout Southern California and Central Texas. Thus, while I will do my utmost to narrow and settle the issues before proceeding to trial, you can rest assured that if you reach an impasse with opposing counsel or your soon to be ex-spouse, I will competently and zealously advocate for you in court. Part of my practice is focused on family law with an emphasis on child custody issues. JASON TRUMPLER Jason Trumpler is a former prosecutor with exceptional trial experience. Mr. Trumpler graduated magna cum laude from Whittier College in 1997, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He obtained his law degree from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law in 1999. Before opening his own office, Mr. Trumpler was the Supervising Attorney of the Orange County, California Office of The Law Offices of Myles L. Berman, a firm that specializes in drunk driving defense. Prior to working for The Law Offices of Myles L. Berman, Mr. Trumpler spent three years working for the Orange County District Attorney's Office. During his tenure with the Orange County District Attorney's Office, Mr. Trumpler handled thousands of criminal cases at both the pre-trial and trial stage. In addition, he trained law enforcement officers throughout the county. Mr. Trumpler also previously worked with the Ventura County District Attorney's Office as a Deputy District Attorney. In that capacity he also handled hundreds of cases. Over his career, Mr. Trumpler has completed over 100 jury trials. Mr. Trumpler concentrates his practice in defending people accused of crimes throughout Central Texas and Southern California. Mr. Trumpler now resides and maintains the headquarters of The Law Offices of Jason Trumpler in Austin, Texas. Mr. Trumpler has been licensed to practice law in the State of Texas (Bar # 24053913) since 2006 and the State of California (Bar # 210564) since 2000. In 2005, Mr. Trumpler was also admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Central District of California. Mr. Trumpler is also a member of the Austin Bar Association, Williamson County Bar Association, the National College for DUI Defense, The National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Austin Criminal Defense Lawyers' Association. Additionally, Mr. Trumpler is a proud veteran of the United States Army. He received his honorable discharge in April of 2003. He served his country from 1996 to 1997 as a peace keeper in the former Yugoslavian Republic of Bosnia. |
